Film Paper Guidelines Art Appreciation 1301
You will write a 2-page review on one of the Tim Burton films listed. You may choose to have either a positive, negative, or mixed reaction to the work in your paper. First, I am looking for you to support your argument by application of the elements and principles of formal analysis in your review. The other forms of analysis such as iconographic, contextual, social and/or biographical should be part of your review as well. You will also need to convey an understanding as to why the film is considered important or groundbreaking in the art and history of film. NO SYNOPSIS, please. I know the plot
of the films.
Type your 2-page review, double-spaced with 1 inch margins top, bottom and sides using Times New Roman 11 point font.
